Nays VMPR – The Zander Lure for Night Fishing
The Nays VMPR’s specialty is night fishing for zander that move close to the shore to hunt. With its very slender profile and a length of 13 cm, the VMPR mimics the zander’s primary prey fish: bleak, roach, and other slender whitefish.
The VMPR is fished quite simply by retrieving it slowly close to the bank; even at low speeds, it shows a strong flanking action. This action has proven to be a highly effective trigger for zander to strike. We placed particular emphasis on its "slow-floating" action and shallow running depth. This allows the VMPR to be fished in typical zander hunting grounds, such as the small backwaters close to the bank, in a way that keeps it constantly within the predators' line of sight. Naturally, the VMPR also features a weight-transfer system to ensure stable, tangle-free casting.
Regarding color schemes, we prioritized a palette designed to effectively cover every zander fishing scenario. From highly realistic bleak imitations and high-contrast light-and-dark patterns to vivid UV-reactive colors, there is a suitable finish for every conceivable water clarity and lighting condition.
