With the NXT BTSD Casting 2.90m 400g, developed together with BOATSIDE, we are bringing a rod to the market that was built for uncompromising big bait fishing.

Designed for anglers who want to cast, work, and fish heavy swimbaits and giant baits with confidence, the rod combines power, control, and casting performance in one package. Featuring a 2.90 m length, a casting weight range of 150–400 g, and a regular tapered Toray blank, it provides the leverage needed for maximum casting distance, solid hooksets with heavy-gauge hooks, and complete control throughout the fight.

Based in Sweden, BOATSIDE stands for uncompromising predator fishing. Big baits, vast waters, and the pursuit of trophy pike. This is exactly where the NXT BTSD was developed, tested, and refined time and time again.

The NXT BTSD was built specifically for heavy swimbaits, giant baits, and situations where conventional tackle concepts reach their limits. Its 2.90 m length provides maximum control when casting and working large baits while offering significant advantages from the boat. Especially when performing wide lure paths and large figure-eight maneuvers directly in front of the fish.
